Online Children’s Ministries Training

A Webinar, or "Web seminar," is an online event designed to facilitate communication between a small number of presenters and a large remote audience using the Internet. Webinars reach audiences more effectively than regular in-person events because there is no need to plan travel or reserve conference space.

The Webinar provides a safe link from an attendees computer to the host computer via the internet, allows the host to present a training event anywhere in the world.  They are also connected by voice either with a conference call or by VoIP (internet voice connection).  Attendees can interact with the presenter almost as if the presenter were in the room with them.

The Children’s Ministries Agency is excited to announce the use of this presentation tool to those who minister to children on a regular basis.  This couldn’t come at a better time with the increased cost of travel both for those who are experts in their field and for those wanting to attend trainings that will expand their leadership in children’s ministry.

Each month we will be offering a course list of children’s ministries training that will make it easy for anyone who loves kids to receive phenomenal instruction from children’s ministries experts from across the nation in the comfort of their home or office.  The cost to receive this exceptional training will be affordable and will be based on the type of course being offered.

We are kicking September off with multiple offerings of the Character Connex and KidzMax Live trainings (see descriptions below) to help you get trained to use these great programs.  The list below also includes some other great offerings so make sure and take a close look.

But don’t wait! There are a limited number of seats at each event.  Register early to ensure your placement in the event date and time that you want to attend.

Future course offerings will include leadership development, early childhood ministry, gender specific ministry, instruction and training on the use of new resources, as well as various other aspects of children’s ministry.  Many of these trainings will also be offered in various languages. Check the website often for the new listings.  We guarantee these will be both exciting and useful in your development as a children’s minister.

September Course List

With both the Character Connex and KidzMax Live trainings we have a couple of special deals you may want to take advantage of.  If you register for both trainings your cost will be $35 for both, a savings of $15. Course Descriptions

Reaching Pre-Teens
Presented by Children’s Ministries National Director Jason Noble

This training will focus on building a strong ministry for 5th and 6th graders.  Ideas will be given to help disciple, train, and prepare this age group for what they face ahead. Ideas will also be given on how to help them transition smoothly into youth ministry.

Character Connex
Presented by Children’s Ministries Resource Specialist Patti Chapman

You will be trained to present Character Connex which is a school assembly program developed specifically to connect school children with good character traits. It’s carefully designed to be sensitive to the “separation of church and state” concerns of the public school system. This high-energy program captures all the senses, featuring video, skits, puppets, games, illusions, and audience participation. Character Connex is a great tool to connect children’s leaders to their local public schools.

KidzMax Live!
Presented by Children’s Ministries Resource Specialist Patti Chapman

KidzMax Live! is a four-night kids’ outreach event performed using the KidzMax Live! kit. The kit comes complete with scripts, costumes, props, and sound effects. The event is designed to help you reach the children of your area, then for you to partner with other needy churches, Indian reservations, military installations, and inner-city ministries, helping them to reach the children of their areas. In this training we will go through how to best use this great evangelistic tool.
