Networking @ NCMLC
Have you ever wondered how to plan a big community-wide outreach? Maybe you need to know how to schedule volunteers… in children’s ministries you’ll be faced with many challenges and at the Children’s Ministries Agency (CMA) we’re here to help you! We want you to be as successful as you can in reaching kids for Christ and we believe that networking might be the most valuable resource you’re not using!
God has given us each different gifts, talents and abilities. As we grow and develop in those gifts we each develop a certain “niche”. Some of us are amazing illusionists while others of us stand out in sharing Christ through stories. Wherever are you excel in while ministering to kids one thing is vital: using each other as resources! As we’re reminded in 1 Corinthians 12:12 we are “one body made up of many parts” and it is time we started moving together in unity!
As we grow in one area, we must be growing in all areas to maintain a healthy balance in our ministries and in our lives. When we focus on each other relationally, we are able to glean wisdom and insight from the experience and expertise of others who have come before us and those walking alongside us as well.
These battle-tested techniques are not meant solely for the individual who has experienced them, but for the body as a whole. A broken ankle effects the hands, which now need to hold crutches to make the rest of the body “walk”; experiences both good and bad, can teach all of us something if they are shared.
In North Little Rock we will be focusing on NETWORKING… because we’re not called to live in isolation. Whether you’re brand new to children’s ministries or have written the book on how to successfully minister to kids, you don’t need to walk alone!
Join a networking group, attend networking sessions, connect with someone new, invest in another person, bring someone alongside you, train up the next generation of leaders, and begin the process of stepping out of your comfort zone and stepping into ALL that God has planned for your life and your ministry!
