Character Connex Announces 3 Overseas Missions Trips for 2007 and 2008
We are very excited to announce 3 mission’s trips for Character Connex in the coming months. Last year we took 26 children’s pastors and leaders to work with Family Circus in Davao City, Philippines. In our time in Davao we ministered to over 36,000 students in 36 schools. Our team also trained local teams and left 6 full Character Connex kits in the Philippines. After the success of our trip to the Philippines last year, we decided to expand our mission’s trip program. I would challenge you and encourage you to be a part of one of these trips. As you look through this announcement, pray and ask God if he would have you be a part of one of these trips. Don’t let finances hold you back. If God speaks and asks you to be a part of these trips, take a leap of faith and sign-up. He will make a way. We know this because we saw so many miracles when it came to people going on the Philippines trip last year. I guarantee these trips can change your life. We will be working with Rick and Jan Cunningham in Bucharest on this trip. The purpose of this trip will be to launch Character Connex within the country by training local leaders and presenting assemblies in local public schools in 3 different areas of the country. We will also be involved with and assisting Rick and Jan and Save Romania’s Children with outreaches, day-to-day ministry, and children’s ministry training.

On this trip we will be working with Trent and Tina Morrow in Montevideo, Uruguay. Our teams will be launching Character Connex in Uruguay and training locals. Along with local teams we will be doing Character Connex in local schools. Our teams will also be involved with and assisting the Morrow’s and local churches with outreaches, day-to-day ministry, and children’s ministries training.

In Costa Rica we will be working with missionaries Jay and Nancy Dickerson in San Jose on this trip. We will be training all of the missionaries that are currently in language school. We really believe this trip is going to have long-lasting results. It will allow the missionaries to be trained to use Character Connex, and they will be able to take it to their countries. We will also be presenting Character Connex in local schools with the teams that we have trained. We will also be working with local churches and missionaries providing outreaches and general children’s ministry training.

Airfare from our gateway city*, lodging, meals, airport transfers, and a fun day activity is covered in participant trip costs. We will also be providing each country with 3 full Character Connex kits equipped with sound systems, projectors, and truss systems.
Imagine spending 8-12 days with other children’s leaders on the mission field, working together to reach children and equip leaders. Not only will the trips be a great opportunity to reach these countries, they will be a great time of networking and fellowship. While these are mission trips, we do our best to put our teams in comfortable hotels, and endeavor to take good care of our teams. Our hope and prayer is that each team member comes home refreshed and renewed. Space will be available on these trips on a first come, first served basis. We highly recommend that you sign up right away if you are planning on going.
