Event cost: $79.00 per person. (Please note: District Youth and Christian Education Directors and their spouses are free of charge) Please register by January 5, 2008.

General Event Information:
We are looking forward to our annual District Children’s Ministry Conference in Branson on January 31st-February 2nd.  First of all, thanks to each one who responded to our survey and enlightened us on what you would like to see at this years’ conference.  After careful consideration from each survey, we have decided that the focus of the Children’s Ministries’ portion of the DCED conference is going to be meeting your needs as a leader and providing you with tools to be more successful as you lead your districts in children’s ministries. We are excited to share with you the many new resources and tools that we are working on in CMA and also the vision of where we are headed. Our vision for this conference is to get you connected with other children’s ministries leaders in the nation, offer our support to you and your ministry, and equip and resource you as a district leader to enable you to further equip the other children’s leaders in your district.

Bringing your team
As many of you remember, we invite you to bring other members of your leadership team to the conference every-other-year.  Last year happened to be one of those years.  However, due to the changes to the team in our office and the focus of the conference being on team building and leadership development, we would love to have you bring the members of your leadership team. There is a registration fee of $79.00 for each team member that you bring. As always, there is no charge for district directors or their spouses.  Only team members that you invite will be allowed to register for this event and they must have your approval to attend. Registration must be received by January 5, 2008 for this event.

District Coordinators’ training
On Thursday, January 31, we will be doing a district coordinators’ training for JBQ, KidzMax Live!, and Character Connex. These events will focus on training your district leadership in each area. We encourage you to appoint a person in your district to coordinate and lead these vital ministries in your district. Only appointed district coordinators will be allowed to attend. Each coordinator who attends KidzMax Live! and Character Connex training will be certified to train in your district. The registration fee to attend these trainings is built into the $79.00 registration fee for the event. Please register your district coordinators who will be attending training by calling our office at 1-417-862-2781 ext. 4009.

BGMC Banquet
Your team will also be invited to attend the BGMC banquet on Thursday night. Please make note on your registration form if they are planning to attend.
